Wheelchair
basketball in Edmonton, and in Canada is open to athletes of all
ages, genders, skill levels and a wide range of physical abilities.
About a third of the athletes playing in Canada are able-bodied.
This unique "reverse" integrative approach means that
entire families can play recreationally together.
If you are in the Edmonton area and are interested in the sport, you can drop in to the ACT centre in Rundle Park on any Tuesday from 6-8pm. We have chairs, player-coaches and a free drop-in scrimmage every week. Follow the links for more information on:
