The Media in Motion Lab is housed at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. We offer space, technology and knowledge supporting the following activities:
Research-creation or Arts-Based Research activities, where creative processes are intricately involved in the research process.
Data collection or knowledge translation activities that use artistic, creative, or digital methods.
Collaborative research processes, either in person or by distance through the use of digital technologies.
The Media in Motion Lab is located in the Van Vliet Complex, room 3-422 (third floor "Butterdome") at the University of Alberta. Contact the lab Director, Dr. Danielle Peers, with any questions at peers at ualberta dot ca.

Directions
1. Come to the Van Vliet Complex at the University of Alberta’s main campus (87 ave and 114 street - T6G 2H9).
Best parking is directly east adjacent to the building or across the street to the east in Education Car Park.
Best LRT stop is Health Sciences Jubilee Station (114 street)

2. Go up the big outside ramp north of 87 avenue, the south entrance to the Van Vliet Centre.Once at the top, Turn Left (west) and enter the building through the Yellow Doors (not the black ones).
3. Once in the first set of yellow doors, go through second set of yellow doors on your far Left. These lead into a small room labelled “Athletics Office.” 4. Once in that room, there is an elevator to your right. Take this up to the 3rd floor. 5. Exit the elevator. Turn left for about three ‘steps’ , in front of you will be the office of Dr. Spencer-Cavaliere. 6. Turn right at that office. About halfway down the hall on your right will be the Media in Motion Lab: 3-422.
